CONGRATULATIONS TO STEINBERG DIAGNOSTIC MEDICAL IMAGING’S (SDMI) DR. ALISON NGUYEN ON BEING NAMED A 2019 TOP DOCTOR IN HEALTHCARE QUARTERLY

(Las Vegas, Nev.) – Health Care Quarterly is a magazine that provides quarterly updates to healthcare news as it relates to Southern Nevada. Going into its ninth year, the “Top Doctors” issue is a yearly special release. Thousands of medical professionals in Southern Nevada were surveyed, asking whom they would refer patients to for certain specialties, such as Radiology. The list is comprised of doctors who were nominated multiple times and checked against records with state medical boards to ensure good standing. This year, Dr. Alison Nguyen, Musculoskeletal Department Head at SDMI, made the 2019 Top Doctors List!Dr. Alison Nguyen graduated summa cum laude from University of California, Irvine (UCI) with a degree in Biology. She also attended medical school and completed her residency at her alma mater. Afterward, Dr. Nguyen finished her fellowship in Musculoskeletal Radiology at the University of California, San Diego, moved to Las Vegas and joined SDMI in 2006. In addition to being department head, she teaches Sports Medicine at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. SDMI is extremely proud to have Dr. Nguyen as a member of the ever-growing SDMI family.
