Now, booking your X-Ray appointment is easier than ever, giving you control over when and where you get your imaging done.

With our same-day online scheduling feature, you can:
- View available X-Ray appointment times across all SDMI locations.
- Schedule your X-Ray instantly from your phone or computer.
Note: Same-day online scheduling is available for X-Ray only. For other imaging services like MRI, CT, or Ultrasound, appointments can be scheduled as early as the next day, depending on availability and insurance authorization.
How It Works
Follow these simple steps to schedule your X-Ray:
- Once SDMI receives your referral, you’ll be notified that you're ready to schedule.
- Visit the SDMI website and click on the Patient Portal.
- Choose the time and location that works best for you—same-day appointments available!
This process ensures that your X-Ray appointment is scheduled quickly; minimizing wait times and getting you the care you need as soon as possible.

For for the fastest service, we recommend visiting one of our Walk-In Ready locations:
These locations are equipped to handle walk-ins Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. However, please note that appointments take priority, so scheduling online is still the best way to ensure you are seen quickly.
Other Imaging Services
If you need an MRI, CT, Ultrasound, or other imaging services, our team will work with you to schedule the earliest available appointment. While X-rays can be scheduled same-day, other modalities typically require next-day scheduling based on availability and insurance approval.
A Better Experience for Referring Physicians
We’ve streamlined the process for referring physicians. Simply submit your patient’s orders through the SDMI Referring Physician Portal to ensure we have the referral on hand, allowing for faster scheduling and improved communication.
