STEINBERG DIAGNOSTIC MEDICAL IMAGING (SDMI) SPREADS HOLIDAY CHEER IN THE LOCAL COMMUNITY

(Las Vegas, Nev) – Steinberg Diagnostic Medical Imaging (SDMI) has long been a supporter of their neighbors and each year partners with several non-profit organizations. SDMI is proud to be a part of a city full of givers and for this holiday season they decided on 3 specific ways they could give back.Dr. David Steinberg has been quoted in the past as saying: “Anything that has a direct impact on our local residents. As an organization we search out opportunities that allow our staff to participate, allowing us to support the community while bringing our team closer together.” When asked to answer Nevada Business Magazines Last Word Editorial Question from November 2018, What is your favorite way to give back to the community?Using his quote for inspiration this year SDMI chose to poll their employees as to which non-profit they would like to gather donations for, by a landslide, The Animal Foundation won the popular vote and the call for the foundation’s most needed items was sent.As soon as the call for items went out, donations from all 8 (soon to be 9) of our facilities flooded SDMI’s administration building. Altogether, two huge boxes and a large dog crate stuffed to the brim with everything from pooper scoopers and training pads to squeaky toys and balls were filled. Everyone made sure to also bring a lot of treats for all of the goodest boys and girls.Step 2, the kids. At SDMI we clearly love our fur babies but we didn't forget about all of those tiny humans. Each year SDMI hosts a holiday party for their employees; the centerpiece of the event, raffle baskets donated by employees and tickets sold to raise funds for a charity of choice. This year SDMI raised over $3,000 for Miracle Flights, who provide free flights to those in need of life-changing medical care not found in their local communities.That wasn’t quite enough for the team at SDMI, they wanted to do just 1 more thing, so with another call to all employees SDMI was able to deliver over 200 handwritten letters to Santa on Macy’s Believe Day in support of Make-A-Wish.SDMI is a 100% local outpatient radiology center committed to delivering an exceptional patient experience through cutting edge technology.
