Angie Cosca began her journey in Information Technology (IT) over twenty five years ago. With a focus in Healthcare IT Angie found her home at Steinberg Diagnostic Medical Imaging (SDMI) in 2002, originally hired as an IT Specialist. Angie worked her way through the ranks as PACS Administrator, IT Director and in 2019 received a career changing promotion, Chief Information Officer. Today Angie has a team of 10 focused on improving IT processes, cyber security and technology innovation.
In addition to her promotion to CIO, 2019 brought the honor of Techie of the Year, at the LV Techie and Aspiration Awards, a top accolade in her field. That same year Angie received ITWorks Volunteer of the Year from Tech Impact for her countless hours of volunteer work, and mentorship to aspiring IT professionals.
As an active member of the Las Vegas IT Community Angie dedicates her time outside the workplace to supporting local IT organizations. Her IT affiliations and non-profit work include; Education Director for the Information Systems Security Association (ISSA), board member of the Society for Information Management (SIM), advocate and mentor for Tech Impact's ITWorks program and for Women in IT and Security, and mentor for the NVHIMSS. Each of these organizations work to influence not only IT infrastructure and education in Las Vegas but promote global cyber security.
