Sanaa has over 23 years of experience in healthcare management and has been with Steinberg Diagnostic Medical Imaging for just as long. At SDMI, she was previously an Executive Assistant, an Office Manager, and now Privacy Officer. Overseeing all ongoing activities related to development, implementation, and maintenance of the compliance program, she trains all staff, volunteers, and radiologists. Sanaa is well versed in all applicable federal and state laws, ensures all policies and procedures are being followed and holds certifications in both Healthcare Compliance (CHC) and Healthcare Privacy Compliance (CHPC). She works closely with the Chief Information Officer to ensure a solid security infrastructure all while managing the courier and inventory departments.
When Sanaa is not enforcing policy and procedure at SDMI, she is in a dragon boat. She joined the St. Rose Regatta 10 years ago and her love for the sport grew exponentially since then. Competition runs through her blood and has won 8 gold medals out of the 10 years she has raced with her team. In 2019, Sanaa tried out for the USA National Team and got a spot! She competed in the World Cup in Thailand and raced against the world’s top athletes.
